Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile cheerleaders when she makes her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple international courses and often matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He practically suggested to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in the sport at the competition, such as world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to new audiences, specifically with younger fans.

Kai boasts a massive following and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
